I’m curious about two things:
1. Do you find yourself tired in the morning and feel like you just want to pull the covers over your head?
2. Have you already stopped taking care of yourself one month into 2011?
Well I’d like to help you get rid of feeling this way, get your energy back and feel great about your life. This is the #1 tool I use that works like magic when I use it. (That’s the secret to tools, you gotta use them.)
I’ve been back for a week from my trip to Israel and have found a new appreciation for my life by doing exactly what I talk about in this new video. It was important to be out of my regular routine and mix it up a bit. I didn’t realize I was tired and feeling a bit blah myself until I did it.
We took a couple days to unplug on our trip when I made this video, well almost.
[Shhh... Please don't tell my hubby I shot this because we made a promise not to use any technology.]
Watch this video and find out the #1 thing you can do to increase your energy now!

Tell me what you are going to create for yourself and if you have any other tips you’d like to share. I’d like to be inspired and I know it will help others too.
And you totally have my permission to share this post on facebook + twitter and with your FRIENDS!
Friends don’t let other friends be tired and uninspired so share this with 3 of your friends and maybe you can plan a weekend together.

Hillary,
Yes, I have stopped taking care of myself – to some extent. Perhaps I can take this Saturday and spend the day on me. That will be my goal for this week.
It’s good to be honest with yourself and know you are not alone on this one. Book it for Sat and keep to it and see how this will work for you.
Great video Hillary! I try to take a day every week but it doesn’t always happen. I like to get outside and away from my home office. And I definitely disconnect! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment Stephanie! Yes I know how that is but one day to have fun and be semi-unplugged is healthy… sleep late… walk on the beach… Funny to read the disconnect when it’s really to connect to yourself and nature.
Hey Hillary! Because I was literally trapped in my house all day because of these crazy snowstorms, I took the day and cleaned piles that have been accumulating, I read through all the latest blog posts that I wanted to catch up on, listened to few recordings that were still in my inbox, played with my puppies in the snow, and relaxed all day. It was great, and I need to remember not to wait for a snowstorm to take time for myself. xo T
That sounds like fun Theresa. Just my way of being when snowed in. The best part is you did take time to catch up on what you enjoy. Let the snowstorm be the reminder and book the next date with yourself. xo
I just came back from Punta Cana where I spent 7 days doing nothing but reading by the pool and eating. Soaking up the sun was my favorite activity there and the temperature was perfect. I did realize that I will not always have oppurtunities like fleeing to the Caribbean in the middle of winter all the time, but the Jersey shore is only an hour and a half away and I will take advantage of it more often….once the snow melts on the east coast. Until then, I will stick to book stores and museums.
Hey Christina!!!! Glad you had an aha! on your trip and what if you could always have an opportunity to go to the islands. Enjoy and stay warm. xo
I’m booking accupuncture and body work with Miles this Friday!! Have actually been feeling like I’m running on empty lately. I’m taking good care of myself, eating right, practicing yoga, but there’s nothing like a little “spoil-me” time to get those juices flowing!! Thanks for the nudge in the right direction…
Kadie that is what I am talking about, awesome!!! You are welcome for the nudge lady. Keep it up and find time to not do ANYTHING and just BE!!!
